Sean background of 25 years in the industry, 18 of which in management, is varied path through engineering-centric roles such Software Engineering as a lead automation engineers and Security Engineering as a Strategic Data and Network Planning Architect. In addition, he has held leadership roles in organizations that include PMO and Application Delivery & Release Management. Sean is currently the Senior Manager of Data Services at Paychex where he directs an organization that manages the data lifecycle for all the key technologies and applications. This includes data standards and ingestion, operationalization of new data-related technologies, day-to-day database operational support, data quality engineering, and an advanced analytics team focusing on AI and ML strategies. Before that, he led an Infrastructure Solution Architecture team focused on standardization of infrastructure, security, database, and network deployment patterns across all of Paychex’s application stacks.
